In 1851 John was living with his brother James at 15 Christian Street, but still unmarried. James is shown as a Draper employing 1 man. James is shown as a Drapers apprentice.
In 1861 John, Jane, Sybella and John's brother Edward were living 19 Christian street, together with two servants. Edward later emigrated to New Zealand and changed his name to McKenzie.
In 1881 John and family are living at 19 Daulby Street. Sybella was the only child to marry, She married William Robert Miller a chartered Accountant in 1887 and went to live at 33 Moscow Drive East .
In 1891 sister Janet is also living with the Millers, but Mary and Sarah are shown as Teachers still living in Daulby Street.
In 1894 John is shown as a Traveling Draper. By 1901 Isabella (Sybella) Miller, Jane Kinna (Sybella's mother), Janet G, and Mary are at 5 Derwent Square. William had gone to visit his mother and grandmother,and Sarah was in hospital.
By 1911 they were all back in Derwent square including Jane who who died that year. It would appear that Sybella did not have children.
When Janet and Sarah died they were still living at 5 Derwent Square, Liverpool.
